Tossed from an intramural floor hockey game in grad school. Gave up a tough goal and slammed my stick down, it broke which apparently is an ejectionable violation.

We came back and won the championship the next week.
Have you ever been ejected from a sporting event? Player, Fan, whatever? I would love to hear your stories.
Ive been tossed from games a bunch of times. Got ejected as a player and a fan multiple times. Also, I was never wrong, THEY were wrong, fuckin assholes.

So my son who was born with cerebral palsy isn’t worth studying and fighting for because the findings might lead to a world inclusive to him?

Fuck all these people.
I'm told that HHS has just terminated all funding agreements with the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Here's a letter HHS sent canceling one of the grants, relating to work on birth defects. Canceled because the project "emphasizes equity, diversity, and inclusion as key foundational components"

At me next time… the multiple unread books on my nightstand are a giant red light here
Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

A local estate sale group handled it all. And hauled off most of it because people didn’t want the junk. We got paid (not much) for someone to take all the crap away and it was amazing.

Disney/ESPN is a central cause of the YTTV dispute, but trying to keep up GameDay ratings are more important.

This is a fantastic comparison. Spot on.
I know who Pete Hegseth is.

He’s the guy constantly doing bench reps in the weight room but thinks agility drills and footwork “is for pussies”

He’s the guy pounding ten different steroid cocktails while ignoring his playbook

He’s a practice squad all-star who wilts every time the lights come on
I did not expect this kind of fire from Eliot Cohen, but he has Hegseth absolutely pegged www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

A free and democratic society cannot silence comedians because the President doesn’t like what they say.

This is an attack on free speech and cannot be allowed to stand.

All elected officials need to speak up and push back on this undemocratic act.
