And some people don't have much of a reaction at all. I felt a bit warm and tired for a day. Your mileage may vary, but it's so worth it. Shingles is horrible.
It's worth letting people know that the shingles vax can be a little rough, so they can plan a time to get it when they'll be able to take it easy for a day.

But seriously, my reaction was a day of feeling a little run down. And shingles is AWFUL.
