ICE shoots into vehicles because nobody's actually pulling weapons on them. But they know a vehicle can be considered a deadly weapon in court, and it's the only justification they're gonna find for what they're obviously itching to do.
This is the ninth shooting by ICE since September (I did not know that). All of them were into vehicles.

By using the “how bad is crime in Seattle, anyway” is fully ceding Trump’s premise. The reality is that crime could be totally out of control but sending in the Army still isn’t justified.
I really wish media covering Trump's invasion of US cities would step away from this "Trump wants to fight crime, but how bad is it really?" framing. They obviously don't give a shit about local crime, but this manufactured narrative dominates all the coverage.
