It sounds as though excuses are being prepared. This peace deal will, unfortunately, not last. The whole thing is political pantomime.

Now that I'm retired from disability, that's pretty much my life with rest between each rant. My art vs artist post (stickied) basically.

I've seen the comparison made to the 1930s murder of and elevation to a martyr for the Nazis of Horst Wessel. I agree to a large extent, but how far that comparison will go remains to be seen. .

Gary Lineker is up for "Presenter of the Year" at this year's National TV Awards.
I can imagine that if he won it would "ruffle a few feathers".
It's alright, you can skip past Mrs Brown's Boys.
You know you want to.

Just had a visitor. A quite fearless young fox, probably been getting fed by the neighbours. It managed to charm a handful of dry cat food from my daughter.

Oh look. The SNP speaking honestly about Brexit and Farage.
I bet Starmer is horrified.

Brexit has cost the UK £140bn - £2000 per person - and sent prices skyrocketing.
Farage is the cause of the cost of living crisis, not the solution.
Will he apologise to Scots for the damage he’s caused tomorrow - or will he keep avoiding the obvious?

We have a chance to improve our relationship + trading terms with the EU, give musicians + young people more freedom and make travel easier…
And Brexiters are howling about betrayal, fish, ‘holding all the cards’ and immigration.
Same lies. Same prejudice. And same failure if we don’t ignore them.

Not posting as much as I would like recently. I'm halfway through an English teaching course (CELTA), which is keeping me far busier than the knee high grass outside is comfortable with.
Normal service will no doubt return in early July, until then I will be here as much as possible.

Strange how, despite the initial fanfare, those Brexit "benefits" just melt away, and disappear.
