GOP operatives Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, convicted election fraudsters, were paid $960,000 in the second quarter to secure a pardon for a former nursing-home operator who defrauded the government of $38 million. Trump pardoned the man, Joseph Schwartz, last month.
Inside the New Fast Track to a Presidential Pardon
Even some of the president’s closest advisers have been surprised by a number of the recent series of pardons.

kavanaugh not beating the allegations that he’s a dumbass
Brett Kavanaugh (September 2025): The facts and how they relate to the law don’t matter. Assume ICE and other federal forces always act with integrity, always respect rights, and consistently impose minimal burden.

Brett Kavanaugh (December 2025): Should I not have done that? Was that wrong?
Kavanaugh in a footnote in today's opinion says "the officers must not make interior immigration stops or arrests based on race or ethnicity."

One of the most successful pedestrian streets in the world, the Strøget in Copenhagen, was filled with cars until a 2 year pedestrianization pilot project in 1962. The opposition argued “no cars means no business,” but the street has been a massive retail success, the city’s busiest shopping street.

My favorite part of this stage of the trump-Epstein saga is he’s chastising the press for asking about it instead of the beautiful idiot battleships he’s naming after himself

Real empire in decline hours
We reached out to numerous trump advisers, senior administration officials, others close to trump and in the Republican elite to grade the trump doj’s handling of the Epstein saga from July to today. All but one said F or F minus

Because that one said “F-minus-minus.”
Trumpland Grades His Epstein Cover-Up an ‘F-Minus’

‘They keep making it look like we have something to hide,’ a White House official complains to Zeteo, writes @swin24.bsky.social, @premthakker.bsky.social, and @andrewperez.bsky.social.

“Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, told the FBI in 2023 that Epstein was murdered in his jail cell because he was about to ‘name names.’ Mark Epstein, 71, who has long believed that his brother was killed, also alleged in the tip that President Trump ‘authorized’ the late sex trafficker’s murder.”
Latest Epstein files name Trump multiple times
In the more than 10,000 files released Tuesday, Jeffrey Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, said the sex trafficker was killed because he was going to name co-conspirators.

also interesting that the administration thinks it has a say in CBS News personnel matters. perhaps they've been given an indication that they do.
It’s interesting that the administration wants you to know that Bari Weiss is in league with them.

The Epstein files on the DOJ website allow you to highlight the redacted text, copy it, and paste it into another document, which reveals what was hidden. You can also press Ctrl+F and search for “Trump ” (with a space) to see his name appear more than 600 times. #OpDeathEaters

Not to be too conspiratorial, but this story would undoubtedly portray the Trump admin in a bad light (they sent innocent people to be tortured through a process the Supreme Court unanimously held lacked due process) and now CBS isn't airing it on time.

In the summer of 1950 most US newspapers ran an AP story about how race had become the main issue in the upcoming Georgia governor's race. Segregationist Herman Tallmadge, governor from '47 to '55 and then a Senator until 1981 made a name for himself by refusing to "apologize for being a white man."

When Vance says that criticizing Israel is not antisemitism, we should all be clear that he's talking about Nick Fuentes and not, say, immigrant grad students protesting genocide.
Now that JD Vance has said "criticizing Israel is not Antisemitism" (CIINA), people on the left should do two things:

1) Watch how he applies this (hint: it will be to protect young white nationalists, not Palestinians);

2) Make sure that "CIINA" is not the only thing you know about antisemitism.
