few weeks ago i was talking to someone with a ring camera and asked them why they felt the need to have it and in the process of explaining, it slowly occurred to them that they had no reason for it! and then they took it down and bought a normal doorbell. it is very easy to talk to people!!

Republican politicians' entire jobs have become convincing their constituents that the worst shit you've ever seen isn't that bad, actually. And, somehow, it's still working well enough that they haven't had to change anything they're doing.
