The UK Sunday papers are full of articles critical of a Labour govt as it starts to fix a decade of Tory incompetence and corruption.

Best example is a ‘vox pop’ in the Independent where poor voters, disappointed with Labour’s budget, will now consider voting for the idiots who gave us Brexit.

How the right-wing newspapers still manage to dictate BBC coverage.

Almost all of the Beeb's big post-Budget interview with the Chancellor devoted to asking whether she is a liar.

Next to nothing on any of the big measures announced this week

The country wants a wealth tax on assets.

They're panicking because "won't the rich just leave" has been utterly debunked.

They've got no actual argument.

Quick analysis of The Times today:
Wall to wall negative coverage of Labour’s budget. An editorial that tuts about lack of growth but takes no responsibility. And a double page ad to join Farage/Reform.
Absolutely no analysis on how rightwing ideology - including Brexit - has been utterly ruinous.

This summarises the issue I worry most about in terms of Labour’s plan to ensure people ‘feel better off’ by the next election. The papers will just tell them they’re not better off and should be angry about that. The media can create a reality which totally subverts the data.
