i mean nobody has written it on the side of a blimp but if you can't see in pieces like this what people meant when they said "the media wants trump to win, no not just the newspaper owners, all of them, even the ones who say they don't" - i give even odds that this reporter doesn't even realize it
From the perspective of reporting the news, it doesn’t strike me that there is a functional difference between a president who answers the phone at 4:30am in the morning but doesn’t answer a reporter’s questions, versus a president who doesn’t agreed to be interviewed.

It’s one of those things that feels intuitive but just doesn’t work as people imagine. I try to hold space for the folk knowledge ie the problem people are trying to name but experts haven’t helped them accurately diagnose. I think people say term limits when they mean less money in elections.
