I have a firm belief that liberal democracy needs firm guardrails against being manipulated into ending itself and some of these guardrails may trigger illiberal responses.
as early as 2018, the european union had pretty good intelligence on what european parties were on the Russian payroll. why are there still AFD and FPO and FN politicians who are free, in their home countries, and alive.
