Any company who deprived their board of directors from voting would be delisted on the Stock Market.

They should lose their 501 (c) (3) status.

Reports from inside Russia make it clear that there was no Ukrainian drone attack on Putin's compound. The compound is protected by SAMs, anti-aircraft guns, and fighter jets, none of which deployed. No person in the region heard or saw any evidence of an attack.

Putin lied; Trump believed him.

Look at how Spain has dealt with Franco.

Look at how Russia dealt with Stalin.

Look at how Germany dealt with Hitler.

Italy had its lamppost.

The history of dictators has been ignominy.
"Trump will live forever, but only as a cautionary tale, one we tell successive generations to demonstrate that sustaining a democracy against the corrupt and the malevolent requires vigilance and determination." — @paulwaldman.bsky.social
Why every vestige of Trump must be torn down
He's trying to create a physical legacy. The moment he's out of power, it has to be smashed to bits.

A must read to understand what the Claremont Institute is up to is the new book by Laura Field, "Furious Minds". It is a think tank for autocracy.
I’ve been pretty good about not giving my hot takes on social media as of late, but:

I don’t think that descendants of European settlers to these lands should be telling anyone that they seem “comically foreign”.

I’m sure Caldwell’s just espousing good ol fashioned racism, but c’mon.
This is how Christopher Caldwell begins his essay on Zohran Mamdani for the Claremont Review of Books.

Why are these people such freaks?

The surge of AI slop, deceptive synthetic videos & images flooding our feeds, is driven in large part by Agentic AI Accounts (AAAs). aiforensics.org/work/agentic...

Key findings:
-Over 43,000 mostly AI-made posts generated 4.5 billion views
-More than 65% of accounts were created in early 2025

The Trump Center for the Performing Arts is the cage for the cage match at the White House.
This is shameful, tacky, trashy and illegal. Adding your disgusting criminal name on top of the name of a great President makes you look weak and pathetic. It’ll always be The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center For The Performing Arts.

The administration dismantling NCAR is scientific vandalism, much like the Taliban demolishing cultural artifacts.

Yep, a big Target symbol.
The U.S. is giving dying mall vibes.

I can't explain it, but you know I'm right.

Unbelievable. This would be a terrible blow to American science, writ large. It would decimate not only climate research, but also the kind of weather, wildfire, and disaster research that has underpinned half a century of progress in prediction, early warning, and increased resilience.
Exclusive: The Trump administration is moving to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, according to a senior White House official, taking aim at one of the world's leading climate research labs.

It is Atmospheric Research. Not just climate change. How are you going to have improved weather models. I wish a hurricane would wipe out Mar-a-Lago. Air pollution research? Gone. Those planes getting severe turbulence in the stratosphere? Lotsa luck.

In other news, 240 secretaries reported to hospital for broken ankles from having stepped on their IBM Selectric Calibri Balls.

(If you understand this, you are really old).
Does Rubio understand the meaning of the word “wasteful”? I’m guessing not.
Marco Rubio ordered diplomats to return to using Times New Roman font in official communications, calling his predecessor's decision to adopt Calibri a “wasteful” diversity move

And Nebraska also eliminated its Statistics Department because, well, we know statistics are awkward truths.
Heartbreaking. The University of Nebraska will terminate its entire Earth science department.

One of the country's most successful and respected geology & climate programs: gone.

When ideologues & politicians are threatened by the very act of studying climate change, I wonder: who of us is next?

I recommend “The Spark” by Kristine Barnett.
For me, 2025 has felt like a particularly heavy year ... and you might feel the same. So as we head into the holiday season, I wanted to share a few recommendations — books, podcasts, and newsletters — that encourage me, make me think, and remind me how hope begins with action.

Yeah, I dream nostalgically about Denora, Pennsylvania. And the days of DDT. And the Black Plague. The good ol’ days.

Either #Canada has a #CharterofRights or it doesn't.

Right now, it doesn't. Remove the #notwithstanding clause from the Canadian Constitution and abide by the principles in the Charter of Rights.

Canada is starting to Balkanize.
