I say this extremely seriously: one of the main skills children have to learn to be adults is to do things they *don't* find interesting. This is both because many necessary things in life are boring and because sometimes interesting things take time and effort first.

just in case anyone hasnt said this you can be against censorship while also having boundaries. all those people that make you uncomfortable, you are more than welcome to not want to be around them but you should still advocate for their right to create those things that make you uncomfortable.

The freakout about the Zohran government possibly opening some groceries store in food deserts is fascinating because the simplest way for capital to route around it would be for businesses just open up there and obviate the need but they appear unwilling/uninterested in doing so, so govt steps in.

Collective griping about bad generic versions of drugs in the other thread made me realize it's been a while since the PSA: if your pharmacy switches which manufacturer they use to supply a generic drug, and the drug works differently or doesn't work, file an adverse effects report with the FDA.
