My personal favourite is Chambray, closely followed by Seasalt. (Whichever genius came up with Meringue and Shallot as Le Creuset colour names should get the Nobel Prize for Accurate Hue-Naming. Just perfect!)
Forget zodiac signs what’s your favorite Le Creuset color(s)

At the risk of sounding like a pearl-clutching prude, I think I’ll stick with the #UKKidlit feed. Wandered onto a “kidlit/YA” feed for EDITORS, only to be casually confronted with the C-word and my face was that gif of that man blinking in surprise and dismay and I hastily backed away

Shameful! Tick a box to appease narrow-minded parents and make sure their children also grow up lacking empathy and a wider world view #kidlit #kidlituk
Scholastic asks, "Do you want to opt out of 'diverse' books at your school's next book fair?" Your participation in white supremacy has never been easier, just uncheck the 'diverse' books box– poof, no problems. 🙄
Scholastic Under Fire for Allowing Schools to Opt Out of ‘Diverse Books’ for Book Fairs
Scholastic has been accused of bending to right-wing pressure, making having diverse books optional for school book fairs.

“If you want us to keep the books you love, check them out! Circulation is one of many factors we consider when weeding our collections, and it’s a very important factor for public libraries in particular, which need to keep making room for new books.”

Something strange is happening. All summer, I haven't written a word. I've nursed my dying dad. Now he's gone and I still haven't got back to my half-written novels - but I've written three poems about grief. I've never been a poet, but words help. Words heal.

I’ve no idea what the pejorative or slang meanings of skeet are, but I’m happy not to use a clunky word when ‘post’ will do.
To those using "skeet" instead of "post" here on Bluesky. Be aware that this word has many meanings, including a pejorative epithet (in Newfoundland & Labrador) as well as even less family-friendly slang definitions (feel free to look it up).

I had high hopes for Lessons in Chemistry. Plus points: very readable, got me out of a reading slump, deftly written, great characterisation. Minus points: the dog. Yeah, could have lived without the dog’s POV. Took me out of a great story into the realm of silly. #books #bookreview

Haven’t written for months, but definitely considered it today. Paralysed by choices:
1. Start an adult historical (already researched)
2. Continue an adult thriller
3. Finish a MG historical
4. Re-write a MG contemporary (possibly making it funny).

Didn’t write a word.

Sigh

I thought "woke" was recently coined. Turns out it's as ancient as I am. "Glam-rock" was also invented the same year I was - so that should at least give you the decade.
Plan on doing something productive? Don't do that! Look up which words were "born" the same year as you! www.merriam-webster.com/time-traveler
