Christianity absolutely requires you to welcome immigrants.

No exceptions.

No “if they follow the law.”

No “if they contribute economically.”

No exceptions. Welcome them. Treat them as a citizen. Love them.

This kind of shit seriously makes me want to burn down the world, but it also just goes to show that these mouth-breathing walnuts have not actually READ SCRIPTURE.
It’s funny: haven’t been to church in yrs, don’t know what to make of my relationship to religion, but somehow still know enough, & still identify enough as Christian, even if just culturally, to find this shit so deeply, personally, viscerally offensive to the teachings of the faith I grew up with

First: You can make art.
You cannot, as a rule, start from scratch making GOOD art. That doesn't fucking matter.
Second: You can make art just for you. No one else ever has to see it. If you do that, YOU ARE STILL AN ARTIST.
Third: For God's sake relax, you're a grown-ass adult. No one's grading.
I mean, things are tough all over. If rude criticism stops you from making art, you should probably not be making art.

i'm fascinated by how much people love and are amazed by chat gpt saying "nice catch!" and "great observation!" because i personally find the condescension and obsequiousness the most skin-crawling thing about how LLMs "talk"

Just want to point out how funny/sad it is that the same people who will refuse to refer to a trans woman as "she" have no problem calling ChatGPT "she."

The reaction to this story and Michael’s thread is a prime example of how social media makes people coldhearted assholes
This is going to trigger another round of abuse for this woman but the basic facts appear to be that she was separated at the time and so was the CEO. She recoiled on the jumbotron because her husband was attending the same concert.
At a Coldplay concert in July, Kristin Cabot appeared on the Jumbotron in the arms of her boss. Cabot retreated, trying to make things right with the people who mattered most. Now, for first time since that viral moment, Cabot is sharing her side of the story. trib.al/I8tWdU4

The sounds that come out of my mouth when I read this shit cannot be replicated in a text based medium, either through letter-matching or description. This is at once hilarious, infuriating, devastating, and flabbergasting.

This is fucking grim. Somebody invented a white guy, an "IT professional" named Edward Crabtree, who stopped the Bondi shooting and spread it all over the internet, which was picked up by AI agents and slop aggregation sites.

The real hero is a fruit stand owner named Ahmed el Ahmed.
