Human of many cats.

Limbus Company. Play.
This notion . . . concerns me . . .
Scientists now believe that the human brain--a magic goo for worrying--can also be used to do other things

Yes, our inner child needs to be held, affirmed, & protected by our adult Self. But our inner teen, or teen "parts," also need those things-- &, just like any teen, they can be a little more complicated & require a little more patience to engage. Don't ignore or give up on them.

I sometimes think how unfortunate it is that I can't solve my wintertime dry skin simply by drinking more water. I am adequately hydrated, and yet I ALWAYS need more lotion . . .

I NEED—NEED, I will emphasize—to see SO MANY Muppet adaptations. Just imagine: Tolstoy, but Muppets
We as a society haven’t recovered since we stopped turning classical literature into Muppet movies.

One thing I think about when I see people claim that saying animal behaviors indicate emotion is anthropomorphizing them (and that that is bad), is how do we know what other people are feeling? OF COURSE we're projecting. We do that with other humans too. It's different, but it's still projection.

You don't ruin good things, by the way. Just in case you have Trauma Brain f*cking w/ you today to the tune of "you ruin everything you touch." It does that-- & it doesn't actually care if you ruin things.

It's just trying to get you to feel like garbage. It does that.

One thing I find immensely challenging, in life and philosophically, is caring what others think. To not do so is simply not an option, both practically and because that's just kind of not a nice thing to do. BUT, as in Aesop's fables, you usually just can't make everyone happy.

Once upon a time this used to be possible. WHY IS IT NO LONGER POSSIBLE?

Everything is always "slippery when wet," not slippery when and only when dry. It's a huge waste of potential! Physicists should get on that. I just want more dry surfaces to be a health and safety hazard, is that so much to ask for . . . ?

ASKING THE REAL QUESTIONS
why when you tell someone the plot point of a story in advance it’s a spoiler but if the author does it it’s okay bc it’s foreshadowing.

I've been seeing enough videos of people knitting socks lately that I'm starting to feel like I ought to give it a try. This is incorrect. Send help.
