for anyone who is trying to get their gender marker changed on their passport- I just got my passport back, i applied for an M to X change two weeks ago, but got an F? for sure better than the old M but still odd. did they not even put X back in the system? good news for you binaries i guess

Ideally the implications and impact will be so wide-ranging, they'll end up revisiting this sooner rather than later, but I've fully recognized that I'm not going to have equal protection of the law for the next 20 or 30 years, if it ever changes at all. I'll be into my 60s and this will be my life

ten years ago i was a teacher. i was a month late for a whole classroom library of books. i put them in the the after hours slot and did not look back bc i could not afford it. got my library card again today. no late fees anymore apparently. so happy and proud of myself.
