If we can only have art from people who "aren't in it for the money" that means we can only have art from privileged middle-class dilettantes. Making art being a viable career is responsible for nearly all worthwhile art, and if it's not a viable career any more we will get drastically less of it.

for my MA thesis someone had the GREAT idea to write and pencil a 380pg OGN.

i’m probably 70% of the way through but it’s had to take a backseat to some INCREDIBLE opportunities the last 2 yrs.

very much using the end of this year to tie up some loose ends and retool/format/do...

I'm on a roll this weekend with sketching and inking pages. Finished two over the past few days and I've finished doing the panels for the third, which will be an easy sketch and ink job. After that I'll only have 14 pages left, then I'll have to... color and edit them all...😭
