The photo is mine, but the description comes from the Luss Church website:

"A rare Viking-era grave monument carved to resemble a longhouse roof, dating from around the 11th century. Its pattern of “roof tiles” and later Romanesque arcading mark Norse influence on early Christian art in Scotland."

Medical Republic: 'Fibromyalgia finally gets a genetic fingerprint'

'Additionally, certain risk loci overlapped with long covid (BPTF) and ME/CFS (OLFM4, RABGAP1L/GPR52), two poorly characterised disorders, albeit with different lead variants.'

It strikes me that quite a bit of racism (esp. the Pagan variety) springs out of hyper-focus on an imagined past. I prefer to imagine the future, one where we all survive the climate crisis and thrive together in respect for one another and reverence for the Earth.
