so far, every Spider-Man card i've seen (with the exception of Spider-Ham) has been a flavorless bog-standard creature wearing a Spider-Man costume. comics are a tertiary wheelhouse for me at best, but Spidey is my favorite by several degrees of magnitude and i have yet to see a card do him justice
