All I'll say about the Feinstein stuff (as someone who voted for her this last time around, even) is that as someone with a very elderly grandmother who is admittedly in better shape than Feinstein was is that the ageist discourse makes me pretty livid

Like, I am not a theory guy. It’s just that to me it is so obvious that if I’m aiming to help people broadly rather than help certain specifically and harm the rest, I align on the left and not the right. But there’s a lot who self-identify on the left whose whole thing is the latter.

Partway into this whole stupid thing I realized I was feeling uncomfortable at how lacking in empathy I was for the guy
I settled on it being because I noticed the absence of it in me where there's usually an excessive amount, and this culture these people have created is why there is still none
