This turned out to be a brilliant idea when trying to get to an awkwardly placed clamp screw. Because I definitely dropped it several times and would have otherwise had to try to fish it out the bottom.

Putting a rubber hose within reach of the tub when it's spinning is really not a great engineering decision. Seems to have eventually put a hole in it. But I'd rather replace this every five years than almost any other repair on it.

Realizing tonight that the reason my 12 year old is borderline yelling all the time these days is because if he puts any less volume into it, his voice cracks. It is that time of life, I guess.

NASCOURT time. As a sports business lover, this case has been like a Christmas present for me that makes me wish I was still writing. I still can't believe that we got here without finding some way to settle. The sport will be forever changed on the other side regardless of who wins.

Unless I’m already looking to buy something specific and looking for a sale, Black Friday has always been pretty meh in my opinion. Did get a good deal on our laptops and a vacuum cleaner over the years.
I don’t know if anyone actually likes Black Friday but even for a shameless celebration of crass materialism it kinda blows. Every year Amazon is like “want to save 30% on a blender?” and I just think no, leave me alone

I'm just about finished my long watch through of Star Trek Voyager and something I've noticed that has annoyed me is how they say things like "2 million kilometers." The metric system is built to handle that. That's 2 gigameters. What just got me was saying "2,000 milligrams" instead of "2 grams."

The Cardinals getting revenue-sharing should be a message to fans about where exactly they fall in the market size pecking order. Far too many think that they're a big market team that plays small, when they're a small market team that has (historically, anyway) played big.

It’s also clear to me that nobody at NASCAR ever had a teacher intercept a note you passed in class and read it aloud.
Everyone is making a big deal about the NASCAR texts as if NASCAR hasn’t operated for decades with the approach that the teams have zero value.
