And the reasons for that are not hard to find - Starmer’s unpopularity among left-liberals is the logical, arguably even intended consequence of 18 months of comms and policy which alienates and angers left-liberals while winning over no one on right. Full responsibility for this calamitous decision rests with Bridget Phillipson who was told by two committees of MPs that Mary-Ann Stephenson was out of her depth - and it was clear she was transphobic - but chose to appoint her anyway.
Just in case there was any doubt about Mary-Ann Stephenson being both biased (so unqualified to Chair the EHRC) and out of her depth here she hangs her hat on the hideous guidance drawn up by her predecessor - without waiting for the results of the High Court challenge which may find it unlawful.

Over 50% of their 2024 voters have gone to Plaid/Greens. Just 10% are going to Reform.
