My girl had a tough time last night. We were suctioning and repositioning and she just had so much trouble sleeping last night and eating. She’s kinda learning to breathe through her mouth but it doesn’t seem like she can do it for long. My poor baby.

Also why you should stay away from babies when you are sick. Babies don’t learn to breathe through their mouths until they’re older (s/o to my pediatrician for that fact - obligate nose breathers is the term she used) so a stuffy nose is a bit more complicated for them.

Kids are sick. Baby has a stuffy nose and it’s hard for her to sleep at night and now I think I might be getting sick cuz why am I so cold?! 🫠
