Honestly I’ve had an idea in my head for a Predator movie where a Predator would take out bunch of tacticool dorks. Basically a dummer “One Battle after Another “ then a Predator shows up.
There's going to be a Predator movie that begins with you picking your butt and going "duun papers please" at the Predator before it sets its dog on you because you're not interesting enough to fight

As a freelance photojournalist and on set photographer with 600 I second this! You will save more time and effort getting something on the day then hoping you can just recover frame grabs.
I know I’m a dinosaur shrieking from the tar pits, but I’m begging filmmakers: hire a set photographer. Studios will just send out dimly-lit screenshots to press and if you think they look like ass on your device, wait’ll you see how shitty they look printed on paper 😵💫

The Life of Chuck was very interesting and moving and enjoyable and unique. Lives way outside standard movie formula, really great acting from the whole cast. And dancing!

Watching J6 in real time one of my many thoughts were “If this were BLM protesters it would have been weapons free on full auto.”
Also, by their own standards, the cops protecting the Capitol on Jan 6 should have opened fire all over.

My biggest cultural wake up call of 2025 was discovering that the reason I can't find decent zip up hoodies in the stores anymore is that the kids aren't wearing them because they have become old people fashion. They prefer pullovers.
This resulted in a very dark existential moment in my closet.
