Today's Entomological Halloween costume review is "Sexy Bumblebee." The single pair of wings and lack of dense body hair reveal the truth: this is clearly a fly, likely a Syrphid. I'm assuming the strange things dangling from the wings are her halteres. Watch out for mimics!
