New in PN: Corporation for Public Broadcasting's patriotic goodbye

"We’re in thrall to a con man who denigrates the very idea of truth and uses media only to distract and divide. And so the CPB board members broke their plowshares lest they be beaten into swords by a deranged demagogue."
Corporation for Public Broadcasting's patriotic goodbye
Better nothing than a MAGA mouthpiece.

This is what it means to give up the rules-based international order and go back to "spheres of influence" where the powerful can do as they please within their sphere.
RU has been calling Zelenskyy “illegitimate” since he “canceled elections” (he didn’t, Putin’s war did); China has been also stating Taiwan is “theirs”, hence their president isn’t “legal”.. so if US/Venezuela is OK-ed by international community, this will kick off a wild phrase.

Living through a war is surreal. Today, I planned to visit the local winter market to enjoy the snow, the food stalls, and the New Year’s decorations. I ended up there processing today's russian strike on our city, dreading the rising victim count and regretting leaving home...

Happy New Year.
Because of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, my parents are alive and safe. Today, I get to spend time with them.
Next year will be worse. But together, standing with Ukraine and supporting each other, we can get through it.

Вчора майже весь день сидів без світла.
Але свято від цього не стало менш яскравим 🙂
З Різдвом вас друзі!
Нехай світла - у всіх сенсах - буде більше 🙏
А росні - менше.
Гарних свят ❤️

Much better than FLAG WRAP+CAMO dogshit we see too often. Have at least *one* ounce of creativity.
