Hello it's me the leader of the party full of landlords that has been in power your whole adult life and created the housing crisis we now refuse to resolve.

I'm here to tell you it's actually the foreigners' fault.

No live coverage on The Guardian of the Global Sumud Flotilla.

They had no problem giving us a live coverage of the Kirk funeral.

They don't even need to spend resources to cover the GSF. They can just report what they see on the live feed.

They spent resources to go to Kirk's funeral.

Couldn’t agree with this more. Not only does our algorithm-focused entertainment model trap us in binge-watching loops, it also prioritizes the safe and the nostalgic over all else - encouraging endless rewatches of Friends or The Office over a new show or an original movie.

Ireland just released a report showing the huge success of the unconditional basic income it provided to artists. Each $1 spent led to society gaining $1.39. Artists' earned incomes went up more than their side job incomes fell. And they were happier and used less welfare

When Michael Collins was released, some English critics were furious about inaccuracies in the Hollywood movie. For example, the *kind of* guns used to shoot civilians in Croke Park was not right.

Pet parrots which typically live alone (whilst those in the wild live in large flocks) were given the technology to call each other. They would use it for up to three hours a day, and developed favourite friends 💔

sharing this essay i wrote that was published last year in Catflap - it’s about love as action and arrestee support, and for the last few weeks I’ve been thinking more and more about direct action as a form of love.

We’re gonna do a big run. 13 of us including @mothermarx.bsky.social will run the length of the Gaza Strip -40km- in relay from Ardagh to Listowel.

We’re raising funds for Palestinian kids and young people visiting Ireland this July.
