If you think this will mean only people convicted of crimes, you’re wrong. They will then go for people charged with crimes and eventually will go after political targets that they accuse of treason or terrorism for participating in peaceful protest or exercising free speech.

I remember being 17 and about 130 lbs riding those subways at all hours of the day and night in the 1980's when NYC was about 50x scarier than now. Grow the fuck up.

The United States government under Trump by all accounts is shipping these people into indefinite involuntary servitude in El Salvador without even the pretense of any judicial process, much less duly convicting them of a crime. It’s an enslaving operation.

People from outside Mexico may not know that the current Mexican government and the Trump people may be more friends than enemies. Amlo supported and defended Trump during his presidency, and it is reasonable to suspect that the Mexican government is also a Putin's ally. 1/
Delaying Mexican tariffs but not Canadian puts the lie to the idea that the tariffs have anything to do with fentanyl flows (since there are effectively no fentanyl flows across the northern border and there plenty across the southern border.) It was all an empty pretext anyway. This just proves it.

This is why America didn't get national health care back in the days of the Truman Administration, 1945-1953: white racists didn't want black Americans to get it.
After years of talking to Trump supporters my view of them has become very simple: They want socialist, even sometimes progressive reforms but they want them from someone who makes those reforms feel powerful and masculine and they want to make sure the people they don't like don't benefit from them

My main takeaway is that free healthcare doesn’t feel “fair” to most Americans (because of racism and capitalist propaganda) but the targeted killing of a CEO somehow does..
