Loving today's news that the mysterious "fedora man" outside the Louvre heist was actually a 15-year-old museum visitor who dresses like a 1940s French detective all the time, just because. apnews.com/article/louv...

This government is paying unelected school supervisors up to $350,000 a year to replace democratically elected trustees and they won’t even respond to parents or communities. Ontarians deserve transparency, not government appointees hiding from accountability.

We're over 5 years now with #ion, can we please quit with disparaging transit stopping at malls, please?
Aside from the fact that malls often serve as mini transit hubs, do you know what they also are Mayor Liggett? Workplaces. www.ctvnews.ca/kitchener/ar...

“Cities are good, people want to live in dense walkable neighborhoods, and urban governance should prioritize city residents’ quality of life over suburban drivers’ convenience” remains a genuinely radical political program in America.
It shouldn’t be forgotten that a big piece of Mamdani’s campaign was simply “cities are cool and lots of people enjoy living in them” which in and of itself dismantles alot of rightwing talking points

NEW: Ontario has finally awarded the feasibility study contract for the Highway 401 tunnel, paying a Canadian company $9.1M for the work.

Internal studies have already looked at the idea and concluded there was a “potential for roadway collapse.” #OnPoli

She’s right. The government started putting gender on passports in 1972 out of concern that men and women were getting too hard to tell apart, what with all the hippies with long hair and feminists in pants and whatnot.

Strike gender from IDs. Everywhere. It serves no purpose. @murray.senate.gov
@murray.senate.gov When the government is back in session, will you introduce a bill to take “sex/gender” off passports? There is no reason for it to be there, and, indeed, it’s only been there because of the misogyny of our government in 1972?

I’d appreciate a response.

For most of my political life, Republicans have refused to treat me and the people I love as fellow citizens, while coyly (and increasingly openly!) fantasizing about hurting or killing us. I've seen liberals exhibit a frankly astonishing degree of patience with this. That patience is running out.

The 2025 Liberal housing platform is effectively dead. The already inadequate spending promises have been reduced to trinkets. The only thing that’s been left was the worst part of Liberal housing policy; the first time homebuyers GST rebate. The DC cuts are gone.

What a waste of everyone’s time.

Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.
