In my experience, the online art community is horrendously toxic and probably does this on purpose - they're all very competitive and insecure, and they'd love to see bad drawings get posted so they can keep feeling better about themselves by bullying the creators
Apparently someone decided to screenshot this post, which is was premised based on how hostile social media can be. So let's talk about why the two most common responses, "just be bad and post it" and "just be bad in silence until you are good" are both inadequate.
