At Mass today, the priest's homily praised the Woolworths sit ins and basically said that keeping your promises in baptism requires a similar bravery, persistence and acceptance of potential bodily harm to protect our immigrant neighbors today. There was thunderous applause after.
This is not a novel observation, but I really don't think the admin quite understands the level of radicalization that is happening to opposition elements that were not previously radicalized in the slightest.
