At least 4 DOJ officials have quit after their division refused to investigate ICE's killing of Renee Nicole Good.

This mass resignation is significant.

The DOJ continues to inch closer to being a politicized machine that strictly serves Trump.

In Turkey, the government labeled first the protesters as terrorists, then intellectuals and dissenting media, then the Kurdish opposition, and now the largest mainstream opposition party. This won't stop until they either cow the opposition or put you behind bars.
Authoritarian governments accuse their opponents of terrorism and otherwise try to criminalize protest and justify persecution of those who resist them
WELKER: Noem called it an "act of domestic terrorism." What's the evidence?

HOMAN: If they didn't have sanctuary policies--

W: To be clear, is anyone who protests ICE a domestic terrorist?

HOMAN: It's case by case. If you look at the definition of terrorism, it certainly could fall within it

Chris Murphy: "The amount of training that's given to an ICE officer has been cut in half by this administration. The number of days of training they get are 47. You know why they get 47 days? As an homage to the vanity of POTUS. No wonder the number of violent incidents are going through the roof."

They can't even do that. It is illegal in all 50 states to fire at or into a vehicle fleeing the scene of a crime , any crime, unless the vehicle itself is posing a danger to others, and even then only in very specific circumstances. This was litigated in the Supreme Court in the 1980s.

Tapper to Noem: "I just showed you video of people attacking law enforcement officers on J6. Trump pardoned them all. You said Trump is enforcing all the laws equally. That's just not true. There's a different standard for LEOs being attacked if they're being attacked by Trump supporters."

The difference between the Mexican cartels and the country of Venezuela is that the Mexican cartels have a far greater ability to hit back at the United States.

For example, they could grab a random American family in Acapulco and murder them brutally just to send a message.
Trump, in a sit down interview on Fox News aired just now, said the US will be conducting land strikes against the cartels.

"We are gonna start now hitting land, with regard to the cartels. The cartels are running Mexico."
