Read the full story at Anthropocene Magazine. See also: Schmelz, K., & Bowles, S. (2025). An empirically based dynamic approach to sustainable climate policy design. Nature Sustainability.  Environmental mandates such as car bans can erode green attitudes, a new study reveals. In a survey of more than 3,300 German residents, many people who said they would be happy to adopt green lifestyle practices on a voluntary basis said they would turn against those actions if they were required.

Listen I think in Hollywood more people need to take risks on original scripts and ideas, get more directors making more work from more writers, and stop relying so much on IP.

Except for the Rocketeer. If you need a script for a sequel, Disney? Call me. I have like eight.

So Olivia Nuzzi is clearly a piece of shit who can never work in journalism again after this.

And, also, Ryan Lizza is clearly a piece of shit who should never work in journalism again after this either.

We're all agree on that, right?

Finally someone said it. Do not use multivariate regression to support claims about 'risk factors' for some outcome.
We wrote an article explaining why you shouldn't put several variables into a regression model and report which are statistically significant - even as exploratory research. bmjmedicine.bmj.com/content/4/1/.... How did we do?
