Without a doubt. He will make a good faith effort to enact all his policy ideas. He will succeed on some and fail on others. And that’s fine. That is how change works. Also his promises are all feasible.
Do you think he can actually achieve his promises?

David Frum's latest anti-Native rights piece in the Atlantic is so misinformed, so carelessly put together that he confused the band number with the population. Kwikwetlem is band code 560 - an administrative number from ISC. The population is 153. 1

A real thing with real consequences. Just ask Garífuna communities on the Atlantic coast of Honduras. Plutocrat’s fantasies aside, libertarian’s grotesque enclaves are a predictable outcome of capitalism:
What’s happening with American media, American education, and America’s approach to places like Greenland & Honduras harmonizes with the “network state” movement (backed by Thiel, Lonsdale, Andreessen, etc), which calls for the construction of “parallel institutions” and “parallel societies”. 1/
IMHO, you can’t understand what’s happening to the US if u don’t know about the “network state” movement & its “parallel establishment” strategy, which includes building “parallel societies” (w/ their own physical territories) & “parallel institutions” in media, education, finance, science, etc. 1/

Whistlemania 😀.
When Customs and Border Protection and Commander Gregory Bovino move into town, so does Whistlemania.

These activists create and distribute thousands of 3D-printed whistles, and their piercing cries are used to signal that immigration agents are nearby. And it's working.

This is an extraordinarily helpful thing to read. If you’re not actively working to remake the academy by deliberately finding ways for it to serve the future, you’re missing the point! On how the university actively finds ways to insulate itself against positive change:
One of the arguments I make here is that Black women academics, especially, often have our academic credentials disregarded (implicitly and explicitly) if we mention, even in the slightest way, how our discipline reproduces inequality – structurally or conceptually.

This is such an important story. The future of agricultural work in the US is at a turning point. As a market for fruits and vegetables, Canadians need to support fair wages, job security and housing for farm workers in the US. You feed us too.
The UFW has sued the Trump Administration ... again. Why? Because they are trying to steal wages from farm workers and we are not going to let that happen. #WeFeedYou
