I had amends for one of my maps from an academic. I couldn’t understand why I got some locations wrong, having plotted them according to his co-ords. Now I have different co-ords for the same sites.

I really like the Oxford Clarion which doesn’t get enough mentions when people write about local news startups.
Oxfordshire County Council has clarified that the Ghostbusters hearse would not be exempt from the city’s Congestion Charge. A spokesperson told us “It’s not as simple as buying a hearse. In order to qualify for a permit, you must also be a funeral care business.”

10 years ago my son started a record label. It's going OK.
300,000 turned up to see Championship football at the weekend, average gate of 25,000. Only Oxford (11,000) and QPR (17,000) dragged the figure down.

One of my best European nights was when Grasshoppers came to town. I met a group of Zurich fans in a Bulwell pub. They had brought over the Swiss version of our yard of ale - a glass boot.
