Howlin' Wolf passed away 50 years ago today. Eighteen years later, he and the Dead were each inducted into the Rock Hall. Bob Weir never struck me as heavy into symbolism, but the coincidence is striking.

Retired cop here. Having been in a few highly stressful tactical situations, and seen other people's reactions, the normal response should be more along the lines of "oh fuck what the fuck just happened," rather than "fucking bitch" and walking away.
