Poem called A Few of My Favourite Things. It reads as follows. From Advent season's first day onwards•Each and every year•Trust that I'll be on a tight, tied, tide schedule•With a couple of loose ends•(That, at the moment, I'm still learning to be okay with.•It hasn't been all that easy thus far.)•The threadbare days, hours•When they come around and stifle me•I become despondent, angry and depressed•The truth is I'm being so held back by the dimwits that be•Coarseness undermining my cardinal sensibilities•And feeling disempowered is a state I'm all too used to•While, at the same time, it's never felt in any way natural to me. Part two of A Few of My Favourite Things. Because it isn't•I'm a mouse-holed powerhouse running on tiny pleasures•So for the past couple of years I've been trying•To take back some control•By resisting the jostle, the hustle and the bustle•The "buy sixteen, get one free"••From Advent season's first day onwards•When I say "this goes here" or•"Ode to Shepherd Winter and the Big Sleep"•I f—king mean it•This is because, despite all unpredictabilities and the things that on occasion rile and•Pain me so•I just would like, I really would like with a passion and I insist on having•A few of my favourite things, such as. Part three of A Few of My Favourite Things. Playing the music I have handpicked•—Underneath The Tree, Winter Paradise, One More Sleep, Not Even the King, White Christmas, It's December (and I'll Be Missing You), Wonderful Christmastime, Do You Hear What I Hear?, It's Christmas and I'm Crying and then some—•I will watch films to bring me comfort•—Vanessa Hudgens Christmas movies (i.e. the princess trilogy and the one with the hot, socially inept knight); those where the most likeable character is, quite predictably, the Latin grandmother; Christmas Every Day, my favourite since childhood because the main character gets trapped in a timeloop and is forced to relive Christmas Day over and over which he hates (and I love); the Doctor Who Christmas Special called The Snowmen because Jenna Coleman is a literal goddess in it, she's very funny and cool; the sitcom where Ashley Tisdale's character comes out as queer at the end; the big three i.e. The Lord of The Rings—. Part four of A Few of My Favourite Things. I want my decorations that calm me, little by little•Timely put them in place and leave them there for as long as I see fit•Always my candles, one scented too, or an oil burner perhaps•Don't touch and don't move anything for it will mess with my system•Greatly, I'll get nervous and might snap•I'll plan and cook nice little meals, I'll even go to the shops while everyone's in heat•(I'll be quick about it, of course. I've got to be.)•On Christmas Eve, I'll go to church on my own; a little anxiously still, but•I'll try and sing and pray my heart out and then afterwards walk home•Through the cold night air, candle in hand•Inside the house once more, red-lipped still and looking the part, I'll open up•A bottle of beer or wine or both•And —so it begins— put on my favourite Christmas film•Have Howard Shore's bombastic compositions take it from there and•Call it Christmas.

I go on the bird website one time to look something up, take one tiny peek at the timeline (grave mistake) and the place is flooded with overt biphobia, brainrot-level celeb gossip, baffling engagement-bait-y vague posts, more biphobia and —worst of all— people going along with it all.

I feel like a very autistic trait is holding a grudge against someone (or disliking them) because they loudly "corrected" you when you were right.

Not because I need you to think like I do or anything or out of any need to be right, I’m confident and comfortable with my opinion.

It’s just because the movie—any Star Wars, but TLJ in particular because of its level of craft—makes me feel exhilarated and I want you all to feel that good, too.
