I vividly remember when I read it (27 years ago), where I read it, why I read it, and how I felt during and after the reading of it. It is an Experience.
One of the fun ("fun") things about the release of the film is learning just how many people have been holding onto THE LONG WALK trauma for years. I know I have.
Just like the walking competition itself, knowing how it ends doesn't make it hurt any less. #TheLongWalk is one of the best Stephen King adaptations of all time, and one of the best films of 2025.
