My stepbrother (keyboards) has written the bulk of the songs, and I'm contributing three myself. We've got a few bombastic/anthemic numbers, an aggressive power/thrash song, a gorgeously dynamic and progressive piece, a dance-y mid-paced track, and what will hopefully be a deliciously OTT ballad.

My band finished recording our first demo last week and we met last night to discuss our timeline for album 1. Writing is nearly complete, and we aim to record in Spring / release in Summer '26. It's looking to be a diverse, hour-ish long slab of power metal, with Galneryus as an overt inspiration.

Yeah, still don't care for this unfortunately. The orchestrations are lush and interesting, but there are no riffs or hooks on this album at all.
