I gather (from JFK files) that old school redaction would be to retype everything with a code word, so the code word is the redaction. That solves the alphabetical snafu, too, because then the index indexes the code word alphabetically, and not the underlying true text.

Reddit is growing because it's just a collection of forums and people like their niches. Substack is something else and I'm bored even writing this sentence about it. All I know for sure is the reporters and commenters who spend their whole day on Twitter in 2025 have to go to a hospital.
