in plainest possible explanation:

Epstein help seed the online community that launched conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory by sharing true stories of his associates to disrupt and destabilize geopolitics.

and if we explain it like this, they'll look at us like we're the nuts.

As of 2023, nearly 80% of the water used for Google’s U.S. data centers came from drinking water sources communities rely on 😳

Big Tech’s profits can’t come before our basic needs. We need to stop ALL new data centers until we have more regulations!

The Epstein emails should really end the debate over whether society should have billionaires. "Do you want there to be a class of people so powerful they can fuck your kids and no one will even try to do anything" seems like an easy sell if everyone in politics wasn't trying to get on their payroll

A new month begins tomorrow and so spins our Rent-O-Meter! Besides the €2k we need to pay rent by Feb 11th we also have €1500+ in bills to pay and €1000 in 2025 debt left!

A dozen new graphic novel subscriptions would go a long way to solving our money problems!

They're trying to blame Met Éireann for doing their job rather than blame their own failures or acknowledge that we will have to make sacrifices and real changes to mitigate the effects of climate change
Minister James Browne said Met Éireann needs to make a 'judgement call' rather than solely relying on mathematical formulas when it comes to issuing weather warnings jrnl.ie/6940649

We need to get real. Met Éireann is not to blame for flooding damage - poor planning, building on flood plains, not implementing over 20 years of remedial action are. We were warned decades ago winter rain would increase, but continued doing nothing and built on space needed for water #spéirghorm

I analysed the DoJ’s immigration chatbot for @iccl.bsky.social and the amount of seriously wrong information it gave was shocking even to me. The idea that people fleeing persecution would be expected to rely on a chatbot in lieu of actual legal advice is 😱😱😱

The Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission doesn’t believe chatbots are suitable “in provision of legal counselling”, a spokesperson said.

Let me get this right, our Government thinks the reason we have a housing crisis is because landlords can't charge enough rent?
Higher rents is their solution. Remind me again how many of them are landlords?
The Government has defended the new rent rules due to come into force on 1 March, saying that a balance must be struck between strengthening tenants' rights while also increasing investment.

Nothing innovative is needed. It's all been suggested but ignored. The problem is too many cars. Give buses priority bus lanes. You can't have taxis & cars in bus lanes & expect buses to be on time. Contactless payments speed up entry. Put more buses on routes. Make the bus journey faster than car.

I just want to add to the helmets vs drivers discourse to say that in my head to toe high visibility gear, helmet, reflective gloves, and ample bike lighting, I have not had even one safe journey to work where a motorist did not try to run my over - in fact it's usually MULTIPLE TIMES per commute
“The notion that ever more garish clothing will compensate for distracted driving is a convenient fiction. No amount of fluorescent fabric can counteract the motorist scrolling on their phone or the driver travelling too fast.”
