When I get time, I should do a big recommendation thread of horror movies to watch in the run up to Halloween. For now though, may I suggest watching Lake Mungo? I always start off those threads saying how Noroi: The Curse is my favourite found footage horror, but Lake Mungo is a close second.

Sonic crossworlds, mina the hollower, mouse pi, Lies of P dlc. These are the only things interesting about this game fest so far and its things I already knew existed. Oh and Muppet punchout looked neat

The rich don't appreciate food. They have so much money, food is guaranteed. Cooking shows often talk about how things like brisket were poor folks' food, so they (the poor) figured how to cook and season it, and nowadays, it's "gourmet" the history of food is tied to a lot of classist bullshit.

The Army deleted my “Why I served” video where I talked about how I decided I wanted to attend West Point/join the Army after one of the cadets my family used to sponsor died in combat. Probably deleted because she was the first black woman to be CSM at West Point.

I remember he adamantly REFUSED to credit and doubled down on why that was fair. Something that would take seconds of his time that could impact an artist life who doesn't even make close to 0.1% of his networth. He feels entitled to others skills cuz he can't impress anyone on his own merits
Some ask why twitter hates artists so damn bad but it just keeps sparking my core memory of when Elon posted that fanart of 2B to his account uncredited a few years ago and the art community lit his ass up to hell and back over it and he's been scorned ever since.

This reminded me of something I saw someone say and stuck in my head, in a way I've been chewing over (Repost with permission).
The Algorithm rewards hate which then trains people (via their commonly consumed cultural criticism) to only be skilled in expressing hate. That's a hard one for everyone

A lot of us like to buy Japanese G Pen nibs and other brushes and pens and the like. This is good advice so you’re not caught unprepared. Stock up
If you're an artist (or someone who buys foreign goods for their profession/hobby), get your stuff this year before the inauguration.
Tariffs are likely to be put into place, and other countries will respond. We're going to be paying more for paper, paint, tech, brushes, pens, you name it.
