Watching videos of people reviewing monitors, trying to convince myself that the vibrant colors, spectacular refresh rate, and beautiful sound on the built-in speakers they are trying to show me are not somehow limited by the old monitor and speakers I'm viewing on.

As of this morning's update (tracking through 9/20), the number of people killed by the police in the United States this year has crossed 1,000.

This number will continue to rise, as it always does, with no meaningful attempts to slow it by either major party.

This is all still happening.
