I’m not your friend, buddy!
Fuck yeah!
Inasmuch as I explicitly model my starship names in the Interdependency series on what Iain Banks was doing in The Culture, my presence in this headline is superfluous; nevertheless I will take it

Maybe that was from the timeline in which Troy and Britta name their son Chewbacca, which means He Who Hunts Bounties.
Going through Community again, and in season 6, there are Doctor Who dvd's on Abed's shelf. So,

A) Is Abed watching Doctor Who? Because that seems insane to me given his Inspector Spacetime fandom.
B) Between Who and Inspector Spacetime, which is the knock off version?

I dislike politicians using sports as a platform as much as anyone. But I’m certain the commanders ruined that game by sucking chode.
Hey Fox, way to RUIN the Lions/Commanders game by giving air time to that fat, dumb, LYING, cheating, pos traitor, vindictive sore loser and CONVICTED FELON!

Banks is a top shelf world builder and story teller. I just finished rereading Matter and am now rereading Player of Games. I doubt I’ll be able to stop at those though. If I could bring back one artist from the dead, it’d probably be Banks.
Yesterday's Word Count = 290
Weirdly this is one of the most consistantly funny books Banks ever wrote.

It is a legal requirement that all cat names must evolve like avant-garde jazz. By the time of a cat's fifth birthday the name by which it is generally known should have zero resemblance to its original name.

No question about it, I have a tab-hoarding problem, but it really is a testament to Apple Silicon, MacOS, and Safari that I'm running like this — with 706 open tabs across 50 windows — and nothing is noticeably slow.

It’s that the crowd cheered.

Maybe if MTG asked nicely the Dems would use their weather-controlling machine to warm things up.
Today’s woke snowflake kids just aren’t tough enough for the world. Here’s why we have to move the inauguration inside because of the moderate cold.

1977 Carter 28°F
1961 Kennedy 22°F

It’s not about the cold… it’s about the small crowd size.
