During WW2 in the US a popular if apocryphal Hitler quote went "America is a mongrel nation & will prove no match for the pure Aryan Germany". Americans celebrated our diversity & saw it as a source of our strength.

Meanwhile the bulk of humanity is looking at the downsides of filling the world with 2 ton metal boxes that can go 130 mph by sticking your toes out all to move one or occasionally two people.
This isn't cheap. I can ride my $500 bike to the metro and take it on the train for $2.25. Thats cheap.

I don't see how Tesla's Model 3 can survive if Benz can offer an alternative EV this cheap, with this kind of performance, on top of the 15% tariff that it's charged in the US.
Imagine what this model does to Tesla in Europe, where Benz pays no tariffs.

When you spend a lifetime griping about government incompetence then live long enough to find that incompetence to be the current governments only saving grace.
DC jury acquitted the Sandwich Guy. Lindsay Halligan can’t even bring an indictment because she’s not legit. Jeanine Pirro couldn't get a conviction because she’s incompetent.
As the judge pointed out, incompetent Pam Bondi completely screwed up the appointment of Halligan in violation of the law.

I don’t know how we’ve gotten to the point where men in full balaclavas can abduct daycare teachers while they’re watching children.
But I do know that this isn’t sustainable. Abolish ICE. There is no way to reform this.

I'm glad to see a young Democratic Socialist win so decisively in NYC. Now we need a Mamdani administration to succeed in showing the rest of the country the benefits of genuinely progressive policies. We've already seen the alternative & without substantial change we are well and truly fucked.
