Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

I feel like maybe I should try get involved in more art programs or communities, but it's kinda scary. Part of it is that I'm not really fineart brained, and another part is that I'm just kinda afraid.

I'm doing a bit of watercoloring for fun, and man. I really love watercolor pencils. I should get more, especially seeing as my mum made a nice case for them a while back.
I like regular paints too, but sometimes they can be a bit intimidating.

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

i'm tapping the sign because a lot of people just seem to forget that "nsfw" doesn't just mean porn. it means "not safe for work." would i get sent to HR for having this on my computer monitor? yes? then it's not safe for work. for the love of everything that is holy, stop erasing the meaning.

For the Game Awards they should give you the option to either vote for a game or hate on a game where your vote counts as a -1.
They should also include some form of bomb or explosive. In every category there's a random chance that no one wins.

Nothing activates my cynicism towards the game industry more then the game awards.
This year's wasn't even as bad as some others but Jesus Christ half the categories are a rotation of the same seven games.
