The problem for the Feds and the Administration is that DHS et al are too small and can literally get beaten down and out of the city if local/state police don't help and MN Guard are unavailable - you won't get other State Guard in sufficient numbers deployed in time.

Then what? Bomb Minneapolis?
Here's the thing. These guys have no sense of how to act in public order. And if they keep escalating in cities while diddy-bopping around foolishly, they are going to face some seriously violent consequences as the reality of numbers manifests.

Reminds me of earlier debates about 'ceding the town square' which confused X with an actual physical town square, and forgot that it was a website whose harm would go away if people just left for another that at least conformed with the law.

I have similar thoughts about The Marketplace Of Ideas: actual market places have Trading Standards, police, people who generally don't buy stuff from traders who have ripped them off before, traders that pay to rent a place, a government license to exist, etc.

British journalists are addicted to X because even though the views and likes are fake, the numbers under their posts give them the feeling that someone is reading their opinions, which is not a sensation accessible at any British newspaper

This is the ICE agent removing the personal computer of Jonathan Ross, the killer of Renee Good, from Good's home earlier today.

Next, video of the same agent on Dec 8 (not Jan 8, sorry) after dangerously boxing in a MnIceWatch volunteer with his truck & saying "I'll dedicate my next arrest to you"

Totally normal procedure for someone who is supposedly under federal investigation. I'm sure they're just making sure his collection of "WWII memorabilia" is safe.

It should be bigger news that masked agents were filmed hours ago removing potentially inculpatory evidence from the ICE shooter's house, clearly lacking evidence tags or chain of custody stickers.

Before we have word on whether he underwent a toxicology screen at the hospital following the killing

The tragic death of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year old mother fatally shot by ICE, shows that ICE can’t be reformed and must be abolished.

I’ll be introducing the Abolish ICE Act as a step toward justice, accountability, and humanity in our immigration policy.

Time to melt ICE.

Maybe even the non-rogue agents should share the list of "criminal immigrants" they are looking for with local police so they can help. We should keep asking - why are they not doing this? If there really are dangerous people "on the loose" WHY DON'T THEY TELL LOCAL COPS WHO THEY ARE LOOKING FOR?

Key point: Trump's FBI won't do a real investigation into Minneapolis shooting, which will send a message to more ICE agents to go rogue.

"Kash Patel is basically an extension of Trump’s right arm," Rep Goldman says. "It’s not a legitimate investigation."

Rep Eric Swalwell says state and local prosecutors should step up and bring more cases against rogue agents.

"As long as they’re going to run rogue in our communities, we have to max out law enforcement authorities [of] AGs and DAs across the country."

EVERY DEM NEEDS TO REPEAT THIS
Important: Minneapolis killing should lead Dems to draw a much harder line against *any* ICE funding in budget talks, Swalwell/Goldman agree.

"I am not going to pay masked thugs to shoot moms in the face. Period," Swalwell says.

A Dem House should be for defunding.
