It is wild to me that a military incursion to steal another country’s resources so the president can have a personal slush fund in Qatar is like the 5th most scandalous thing currently happening.
this is a straightforward impeachable offense for trump, vance, rubio and every other person down the line who enabled it and the framers would have thought impeachment for it did not go nearly far enough
Marco Rubio: "The oil proceeds are being deposited into an account that ultimately will become a US Treasury blocked account here in the US. We will say 'this is what this money can be spent on.' They will submit to us a budget request -- 'we want to use the money on these things.'"

Scrolling through the photos of Pam Bondi's "Minnesota rioters," it's just hero after hero. Every photo includes a cowardly DHS agent with their back to the camera.

Bondi thinks she's going to win the propaganda war with this shit, but it's never been more clear that they're losing.

Legitimately a feat of carefully calculated writing to issue a Holocaust Remembrance Day statement of this length without mentioning either (1) the people who perpetrated the Holocaust or (2) the people against whom they perpetrated it

Not really the best sign when newspapers are having to run this infographic to explain to Americans what the paramilitary government force is gassing them with
Here's how to identify some crowd control munitions, canisters of which federal agents have left on the ground after deploying them against people in Minnesota. bit.ly/3YWp1jE

You know Alex Pretti & Renee Good—the 2 white people ICE killed.

ICE has also killed Keith Porter, a Black man, Parady La, a Cambodian man, & 5 Latinos—Heber Sanchaz Domínguez, Victor Manuel Diaz, Luis Beltran Yanez-Cruz, Luis Gustavo Nunez Caceres, and Geraldo Lunas Campos.

9 TOTAL.

ABOLISH ICE.

Leaked video from one of the regime’s black sites, shows victims being crammed into small detention rooms designed for short stays indefinitely. More than 50 people at a time, including US residents and citizens. They report beatings, torture, and food deprivation. #3E #GoodvsEvil

None of these words mean anything
60+ CEOs release letter on "recent challenges" creating "tragic loss."

Call for "immediate deescalation of tensions and for state, local and federal officials to work together to find real solutions."

No mention of ICE.

I wrote about Alex Pretti's death, asking a specific question: What is the point?
Opinion | The real reason Trump and MAGA are so quick to blame Minneapolis shooting victims
Philip Bump: Alex Pretti and Renee Good were immediately vilified — and their killings at the hands of the state justified — by the Trump administration and its supporters.

the entire difference between kyle rittenhouse and alex pretti is that kyle rittenhouse was there to shoot people the cops wanted to shoot and alex pretti was there to protect people the cops wanted to shoot

My theory is they want to go to a city with more Black Americans because the whiteness of the Minneapolis resistance isn’t playing with centrist whites.
Their attempt to occupy a single mid-size city is so widely opposed and despised that I don't know why people think it will go better when they try this in Philly or other larger blue cities. The math simply doesn't math. Any attempt at poll intimidation will be vastly outnumbered.
strange to me that a lot of people on this website simultaneously agree that the administration is run by incompetents who struggle to carry out their agenda without major political blowback AND that they’ll pull off a complex and sophisticated effort to rig elections and prevent defeat in November

Brave Sir Robin ran away.
Bravely ran away, away!
When danger reared its ugly head,
He bravely turned his tail and fled.
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
And gallantly he chickened out.
Bravely taking to his feet
He beat a very brave retreat,
Bravest of the brave, Sir Robin!
Comer: "If I were President Trump I would almost think about, if the mayor and governor are gonna be put ICE officials in harm's way and there's a chance of losing more innocent lives, then maybe go to another city and let the people of Minneapolis decide."
