I know everyone is pointing it out but I do think it is absolutely reckless editorial practice to cite what an AI says, especially in a headline.

Grok has no authority, nor does it have a meaningful explanation for what happened, and citing it obscures those actually responsible for literal crimes.

So in the UK, they'll arrest you for supporting Palestine, and now we find they'll also arrest you for supporting those who support Palestine.

If you hold a Free Greta sign, will they arrest you for supporting someone who supports those who support Palestine?

it's shameful regardless. Larry Summers is not the bar
Noam Chomsky’s emails to Jeffrey Epstein display none of the fawning chatter found from, say, Larry Summers. And he does not appear to have been co-opted by whatever access Epstein provided.

What the Noam Chomsky–Jeffrey Epstein E-mails Tell Us
Chomsky has often suffered fools, knaves, and criminals too lightly. Epstein was one of them. But that doesn’t mean Chomsky was part of the “Epstein class.”

Ms. Rachel is an absolute hero. She’s gotten so much abuse for her extremely compassionate, humane - and in my opinion, common sense - views on children being hurt and killed in Gaza. But she’s not letting that silence her. Bless you Ms. R.

Which views the BBC considers unacceptably political in its presenters is particularly telling, isn't it?
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

ah yes, today is a great day for relitigating the war in iraq

iraq did not attack the usa. al qaeda was not in iraq before we invaded

the bush admin lied about wmd's to invade

the war in iraq was objectively much worse than anything trump has ever done so far, by a lot
America got “the president is killing terrorists, don’t question it” in the 2000s too. But unlike now:
-The US had been attacked
-Al Qaeda was a terrorist group and planned more attacks
-They were in areas the US military did not freely operate, where arrest was risky
-Congress authorized the action
