Before (2014) / After (2025) the greening of this part Rue Edouard Pailleron, Paris 19. General traffic was cut off further down by a "school street". Now traffic is lower, some car parking and the old bike lane have been removed, and trees were planted on both sides in 2022.

Between 2019 and 2024 in real terms EU exports grew by 11%.

UK exports also grew. By 0.89%.

That's the total. Goods exports were lower in real terms in 2024 than in 2014.

Late to this by @jburnmurdoch.ft.com about changes in social media behaviours www.ft.com/content/a072...

From places of connection, to isolation and distraction is how James puts it, and that strikes me as right. Bluesky is still sort of the old way, thankfully, for now.
Have we passed peak social media?

This is Watling Lodge in Falkirk, the best preserved section of the Roman frontier known today as the Antonine Wall. Consisting of a huge ditch and a (now lost) turf rampart, it stretched between the Firths of Forth and Clyde, a distance of around 38 miles. #RomanSiteSaturday

Earlier this month, Reform UK members were spreading “concern” that Kilgraston, a former boarding school in Perthshire, was to be turned into accommodation for asylum seekers. Now, they’re lying about giving the developer "pause for thought". Quality journalism by @alasdairclark.bsky.social.
