The Trump regime's war on Christianity continues, as regime troops attacks Americans across the United States and rounds up majority Christian immigrants, they've also targeted religious leaders.

Here the Trump regime ICE forces shot a pastor in the head in the latest attack on civilians.

Genuinely has anyone *ever* been owned so badly as a man who converts to a new religion as an adult and sorta makes it his whole thing only to see the literal head of that religion rebuke his entire deal and then they choose the NEXT head of the religion specifically because he doesn't like you

We have gone too far in indulging people's belief in astrology, tarot cards, etc. They're all stupid. You're not being a Scorpio you're just a jerk.
I have in general become way less tolerant of ‘crunchy’ bullshit since ascension of people like RFK jr. to actual power. Sorry but the obnoxious Reddit science and logic guys were right, you should be scorned for believing objectively wrong things about consequential issues.

Economic policy right now is being driven by the online right-wing consensus that being a scientist working at a university is really gay, and being a poor person breaking your body every day for poverty wages is masculine, so society will get better if we replace the former with the latter
I'm sorry, but isn't this just the Cultural Revolution 2.0? Why on earth would fired aid workers and NIH medical researchers go to work on assembly lines for worse salaries in jobs they don't know how to do? Why are they getting their economic policy from Mao?

Billionaire makes his mother in law live off social security is the only believable part of this.
😱 Commerce Sec’y Lutnick (worth $2-4B): “Let’s say Social Security didn’t send out their checks…my mother-law, who’s 94, she wouldn’t call and complain…a fraudster always makes the loudest noise, screaming and yelling and complaining”

We can’t solve today’s problems with yesterday’s politics.

Repost and follow if you’re ready to send Donald Trump a message that Democrats are ready to FIGHT BACK!

the least plausible way trump leaves office is that his 4 year term expires and he peacefully leaves.

dying of natural causes before (or after) 2028, assassination, military coup, and fleeing to a non-extradition country while millions of people take to the streets are all more likely ends to this
Dictator shit

a liberal doing a boycott or a leftist doing a sit in or non violent occupation of a building all get called terrorists, a conservative shooting people or running them down with their car or blowing up a building is defined as let's not talk about that too much more of them might kill people
The fundamental issue here is that a pissed off Democrat will arrange a boycott or a sit in or a protest and a pissed off Republican will load a box truck full of ammonium nitrate and nitromethane and detonate it next to the Murrah building
American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

I think a lot of this comes from the merger of MAGA and Silicon Valley. The tech industry believes it’s the only place capable of innovation and all the other intellectual centers of America - academia, industry, media, journalism, government - should be abolished and simply bend the knee to tech
Trump and Musk are basically trying to deskill America:
1) kill all white-collar jobs and replace them with AI
2) kill universities
3) use tariffs to turn the U.S. into an economic island manufacturing, oil and ag hub
4) empty the cities
5) push men into manual labor & women back into the kitchen

One of the best and highest uses of a government is to provide goods that are uneconomical to be produced locally but have massive surplus if produced at all. Particularly notable examples include:
* disease and weather forecasting
* basic science, esp in energy/health
* natural disaster insurance

So apparently the AP Human Geography site is culling some of its "daily videos" for class use. A teacher tells me the videos on redlining and white flight are gone. In the screenshot below, you can see the Daily Videos start with no. 2 (no. 1 on this page was redlining, and it's gone now).

I've been thinking a lot about that bumper sticker which says "everything looks like a conspiracy theory when you don't understand how anything works" and folks it's pretty obvious to me that the people in power right now have absolutely no desire to understand how anything works.

Rick Scott has long been vigilant when it comes to people breaking federal laws.

Just search for "Rick Scott Medicare fraud" and you'll read an amazing story about a master criminal.
Rick Scott on AOC: "It sure seems like she's violating the law ... if she's done something wrong, I hope Tom Homan does his job and prosecutes her to the full extent of the law."

Democrats hold firm, not a single dem voted for cloture.

MAJOR victory for everyone who called in today and this week in support of trans people.

It's a death cult. These people are psychopaths. And they already have blood on their hands.
said this before and i wasn't exaggerating: RFK has the exact personality type of the kind of person that, in a different sort of regime, oversees mass starvation.
“We have measles outbreaks every year," Trump's health secretary said when asked about the death, which is the nation's first in a decade.

After Trump's win, they gave $1M to his inaugural and listed his meme coin.

Now, Trump's SEC has dropped a major lawsuit against Coinbase.

Again, folks seem not to grasp how much this is a total collapse of the Constitutional order. A random private citizen is running the "Cabinet" meeting of POTUS & the Principal Officers of the Executive Departments, & going around unplugging large portions of the government. And we're all just 🤷‍♂️
This man is barely even a formal government employee, let alone elected or Senate-confirmed. A total failure of the Constitutional order, just broadcast & normalized by every major media outlet.
Elon Musk is now presiding over the cabinet meeting. They're not beating the co-president allegations. (And co-president might be putting it charitably for Trump.)
